Pumpkin time!

I still have yet to figure out how to arrange pictures the way I want them, so here they are.

Faith had a lot of fun painting her pumpkin, she also stuck a lot of eyes on it and horse stickers. :)

Here is how they started. One is for Cadence, though I have yet to have Cadence decorate it.
Here is Faith's final product. Isn't she um....creative?

Here is the pumpkin I did. I wanted to do something more challenging and creative, but while carving this Faith was squeezing finger paint onto the carpet and then using the finger paint to paint a cabinet. Mommy was NOT happy! Glad I went with something simple.

When it got dark outside I took the girls onto the porch and showed them what a jack-o-lantern was and how it worked. Faith thought it was the coolest thing! Cadence of course just wanted to touch it, which obviously was not going to happen.

Faith is very excited to be a bumble bee for Halloween! I can't wait to drop her off at school on Friday and see all the other 3 and 4 year olds dressed up. I know a lot of people have issues with Halloween, but I must say I love being able to dress up, when else do we get to do that without people shooting strange looks over our way? Though, since becoming a mom I have stopped dressing up, I would like to but I am so cheap. Perhaps I should go hit up the goodwill and see what I can find!

Pumpkin Patch time!

Only in California do you go to a pumpkin patch not only in a parking lot but dressed in a sundress and tanktop! It was a warm one today, so we dressed the kids in something cool and headed out to the Montclair plaza to meet up with Steven's parents at the pumpkin patch they had in the mall parking lot. I was a bit disappointed because last year they had a petting zoo, but no such luck this year. I knew Faith would have loved it, but we never did tell her there was going to be animals, so it worked out ok. I was not about to pay $10 for a small pumpkin so after the pumpkin patch I went to Albertsons and bought 3 (1 medium 2 small) pumpkins for under $10! The plan is to have the kids paint the 2 small pumpkins and I will carve the bigger one! I can't wait!

Well, I put my pictures in the wrong order, so they start at the end and finish at the beginning, though I am sure it doesn't matter.

Haircut!

After about 6 1/2 months I finally went it and got my haircut. Actually, I got it trimmed as I am trying to grow it out. I haven't had my hair long since I was about 5 months pregnant with Faith! I am excited to grow it out and hopefully even style it once in a while. I wish I could take credit for my hair, but this is fresh from the salon, so no credit to me! If you are ever in Glendora go the The Loft!!!!!

Getting sick, pregnancy & fun!

These last 7 days have been days of illness for our family. Last week Faith had a fever that just randomly came and went, with no other symptoms. Then last Thursday Steven had food poisoning, we think that is what it was because he was fine the next day, thank God! It was the perfect day for him to get sick actually. It was the only day in WEEKS that he had nothing going on! So he was able to rest the entire day. It is funny how things work out, even when it seems to not be going well. Cadence started getting sick Friday night then I shortly followed I believe on Saturday night. So, it has been an interesting time needless to say.

Well, I am pregnant with #3. CRAZY! I can't believe that we are going to have another child. This pregnancy has been much different then my last too. I have been so much more tired and nauseous. The food aversions have been much more intense then my previous pregnancies. Of course everyone says that we must be having a boy then. I tend to believe it is simply because it is my 3rd pregnancy. It is okay I know that about 98% of people are hoping we have a little boy. I really do not care. I cared with Cadence, I really wanted another girl. This time around I do not care. Obviously what a parent truly wants is a healthy child, and that is what Steven and I want more then anything.

I spent the last few days in Simi were I celebrated my friends birthday and her sons birthday as well. Faith just loves Ty! They play together so great! I love being able to spend time in Simi Valley with my friends and family. I "stole" these pictures from a friend who took pictures at Ty's party. No pictures of Cadence, she was too busy running around!

Faith stealing some of Ty's time at the party.

Just over a year ago

I cannot believe that a year ago I started this blog and managed to post, what 3 times on here? That is just pathetic. Now, with the help of a good friend, I am understand the blog world a bit better so I am ready to give it a go again! Hopefully what I write is interesting enough for you to come to read again! Now for a few pictures since I posted last.

Cadence at her 1st birthday party . She was so tried and hot! Believe it or not, this is one of the best shots of her from that day! Poor kiddo was so pooped! It was fun though! Here is Faith on her 3rd birthday party. It was mostly family, nothing big, but I know Faith felt the love of all of those who came!

Notice Faith's feet! I laughed out loud when I saw that! She is so weird, I love her for it!
