Babies, Illness & Christmas Oh my!
Well, Disney was great, but that night I woke feeling awful! I was sick from Wed-Sat, I guess I got some kind of bug. Cadence then also got it and is fighting it still. Faith woke up this morning with a fever but went to bed feeling ok, so hopefully that bug will be gone by Christmas day. We aren't going anywhere tomorrow so hopefully both kids will have time to fully recooperate by the "big" day!
Many know that I have been gluten free for all of 2008 and have decided to make that a life style change as I feel so much better now and Celiac is such a risk in my family. I am beginning to get concerned that Faith may have it. I have noticed that she (TMI coming!) has very pale stools and one of the symptoms of that especially in a toddler is Celiac. I was really hoping that my kids wouldn't have to deal with it, but it looks like that just may be. I am not going to change her diet just yet, but get the blood work done first. Cadence should be going to the doctor again in the next few months, I will just add an appointment for Faith as well. I was never diagnosed as I would now have to go back on wheat, and it just isn't worth it for me.
Last Thursday was the Christmas program at Faith's school. I tried to get some good shots, but that was hard to do, so here is what I could get. She did not get nearly as involved as the other kids did, but at least she moved! That was more then I thought she would do! She tends to get quiet in big crowds (like her mommy).

We got in this time!
Here are the girls waiting so eagerly to get in while we waited to get signed in
After walking onto Nemo and another ride or two, we went to go see the princesses. My daughters aren't all that big into the Disney Princesses, which is fine by me, but the ones they love they got to meet! Jasmine was there too, but Faith was not interested at all, I guess because she has never seen Aladin. Cadence loves Ariel, she was in total awe here!
Faith loves Belle, so this was quite a treat for her.
Steven took Faith on her first roller coaster in toon town. Faith didn't mind it, but didn't want to go on it again. I am glad it was a short ride. Steven also took her on Splash Mountain, which freaked me out, but Faith did pretty well on it, but I don't know if she will be aching to do that one again any time soon. Steven and Faith are in the last car.
We got on Peterpan! I kinda got a picture of Steven, I missed Faith all together.
Here is Cadence and I on Peterpan, she was really into it as you can see. Yes, she has a scrap on her nose, she feel the day before on our glider foot stool. I swear this child never has a clear face!
Right before Peterpan, I love this picture of the two of them.
Faith was trying to find me and wave to me. :)
Steven is such a goof ball.
Faith and I went on Alice in Wonderland, Faith thought the Queen and Cat were too scary. She loved the tea cups!

Unexpected gifts
Faith was complaining all day yesterday about her leg hurting her. It was really weird because she also had no appetite and was just very mellow. She seems to be doing better today, which is good because we really want to take the kids to Disneyland tomomorrow! I am keeping Faith home from school today, just in case. I am hoping that they fear of rain tomorrow will keep people away from Disneyland so we can just hop onto the rides with no problem! I can't wait to go!!! Hopefully it will work out this time.

I have no clue how to put on lights as you can see, but I love my tree just the same. I actually even put it up in the stand by myself, not an easy task! Getting in the Christmas spirit
My kids are loving seeing the Christmas lights that are going up everyday. It is fun to hear Cadence oooh and ahh whenever she sees lights. Faith wakes up in the morning and mentions how there are no Christmas lights, I then have to remind her that it has to be dark to see the lights.
I will post pictures of my sadly decorated tree later on. It isn't great, but at least I have a tree!

First school picture
Faith is LOVING preschool and doesn't mind at all going every day. She actually asks to go to preschool over the weekend. Today she started singing a song about the different continents! I know she is learing so much there, I am glad Steven suggested this, it has been great for her. I wanted to keep my little girl home with me, but she is thriving there, it is wonderful.

Car accident, pregnancy, girls and singing
I FINALLY finished my test for my NASM recertification! I have had my certification as a personal trainer since before I had Faith, I am not really doing anything with it right now, but I don't want to let it go. I was really dragging my feet and was running out of time to get it done. With Steven's encouragment and help I was able to finish it on Friday! All I need to do now is renew my CPR and I am good to go for 2 more years! Never again will I do online tests. I will from here on out go the the 2 day seminars, so much faster and easier! Hopefully I will start applying this stuff that I know!
Just my girls from today in the car running a fast errand.
I am now 12 1/2 weeks pregnant. I feel normal again! no more morning sickness or food aversions, and I don't feel super sleepy anymore! It is wonderful to feel like myself again! It is weird though, going from feeling SOOO pregnant, to just feeling like me again. :) I am still waiting to find out about my health insurance for this pregnancy. Hopefully I will have another appointment soon. If anything I just hope to get one before Christmas so I can find out what I am having!
Here I am at 11 weeks pregnant. Yeah....#3 does show faster! Though all that tummy you see is not baby it is bloating! ha ha ha! The baby is still super low and super small!

Pumpkin time!
Faith had a lot of fun painting her pumpkin, she also stuck a lot of eyes on it and horse stickers. :)
Here is how they started. One is for Cadence, though I have yet to have Cadence decorate it.
Here is Faith's final product. Isn't she um....creative?
Here is the pumpkin I did. I wanted to do something more challenging and creative, but while carving this Faith was squeezing finger paint onto the carpet and then using the finger paint to paint a cabinet. Mommy was NOT happy! Glad I went with something simple.
When it got dark outside I took the girls onto the porch and showed them what a jack-o-lantern was and how it worked. Faith thought it was the coolest thing! Cadence of course just wanted to touch it, which obviously was not going to happen.
Faith is very excited to be a bumble bee for Halloween! I can't wait to drop her off at school on Friday and see all the other 3 and 4 year olds dressed up. I know a lot of people have issues with Halloween, but I must say I love being able to dress up, when else do we get to do that without people shooting strange looks over our way? Though, since becoming a mom I have stopped dressing up, I would like to but I am so cheap. Perhaps I should go hit up the goodwill and see what I can find!
